آئی-چوپال پیج پر مسلمانوں کے غیر مسلم ممالک میں رہائش رکھنے پر گفتگو شروع ہو گئی، جس میں کچھ دوستوں نے قران و حدیث کی رو سے اس رائے کا اظہار کیا کہ غیر مسلم ممالک میں رہائش اختیار کرنا شرعاً غلط ہے۔ صرف کاروبار اور تعلیم کے لیے عارضی قیام کیا جا سکتا ہے۔
میرے لیے چونکہ یہ موضوع نیا تھا اس لیے کچھ دوستوں سے اس موضوع پر راہنمائی لی تو انہوں نے مولانا مفتی تقی عثمانی صاحب کی اس موضوع پر تحریری رائے بھجوا دی۔۔ آپ دوستوں کی معلومات کے لیے اس کو آئی-چوپال بلاگ پہ شائع کیا جا رہا ہے۔

ReplyDeleteThis is a multifaceted issue. I will mention a few points only.
ReplyDeleteThe basic reason for Muslims to not live in non-muslim countries is the Islamic law.
It is so much easier to pray in a masjid in an Islamic country.
If and when we develop an interest free economic system, that would be a great reason to live in an Islamic country.
Even though Islamic law is not fully implemented in Muslim countries like Pakistan, still there are certain restrictions to prevent moral deterioration by preventing temptation. Sharm o haya is one of the core components of Islam. Lewd thoughts may lead to lewd behaviour. That is why the Quran tells us not to even go near lewdness and fuhashaa. In general we follow the conservative dress code in Pakistan, which is quite decent. It is very difficult for a person to keep their thoughts pure with half naked women roaming around everywhere in a non-muslim country.
Easy availability of alcohol is another temptation.
The biggest problem is that living in a non-muslim country may slowly brainwash a Muslim to accept the non-Islamic way of living.
